Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
On October 14, Steve Price, TLMC's National Gift Planner, ran the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Steve completed the marathon in 3 hours and 54 minutes, 4 minutes less than when he ran it in 2011!
Steve wanted his run to make a difference in the lives of people with leprosy, so he asked family, friends and TLMC donors to give to the MIRANDA project in Myanmar in support of his marathon. Over $15,000 was raised for TLMC's work in Myanmar!

Pumpkinpalooza
On Saturday, October 20th, The Leprosy Mission Canada was one of the charities being supported by the International Chef’s Day that took place at Chappell Farms in Barrie.
The Escoffier Society of Toronto and the Muskoka and District Chefs Association provided Pumpkin themed food to the hundreds of families in attendance. Their aim was to support the World Chefs Without Borders Program, The Leprosy Mission Canada and the Muskoka and District Junior Chefs Association.
Glenn Waterman of The Leprosy Mission Canada was in attendance talking families about leprosy and giving children the chance to learn more about the disease and how the first Piggy Bank was developed by the Mission.
Thanks go to The Escoffier Society of Toronto and the Muskoka and District Chefs Association for a fantastic event and day.
